Policies
A BRIDAL CONTRACT will is required for all Bridal/Bridal party services, and will specify the location, date, time, number of persons receiving makeup services, and what time each person will have reserved. If services for more than one person are being booked, a minimal deposit of $200 must be paid at the time of contract signing to guarantee each reservation. Due to the possibility of schedule conflicts or additional appointments added after contract signing, changes made to the location and time of event will be done at my discretion. This contract is the only agreement between the person(s) booking and I.
THE DEPOSIT is required by all persons receiving services and is to be paid at the time of scheduling. Only after paying the deposit is your appointment reserved. I accept deposit payments via Cash, Zelle, Venmo or Cashapp & Paypal (both Cashapp & PayPal require an addtional 3% fee).
PAYMENT: The final balance is due 48 hours prior to the event as one payment – no exceptions. The person responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person who has signed the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are Cash, CashApp, Venmo, Zelle and PayPal only. If Cashapp or PayPal is the option chosen, a 3% service fee will be added to the final amount due.
BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a deposit is required at the time of scheduling. The deposit is determined by the total amount due and discretion of the Artist, and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a deposit is received.
BOOKING TIMES: Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished. When reserving your date, book accordingly. All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. All makeup applications for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time.
EARLY CALL TIMES: A $25 fee will be incurred for booked appointment times before 8:00 a.m. This includes if travel time must be started before 8 a.m. Any appointment times needing to be booked at 6 a.m. or earlier will incur a $30 fee. Appointments needed at 5 a.m. or earlier are subject to additional fees and will be determined by the nature of the event. This fee is per client.
CALL TIMES AFTER 6PM: Any appointments that are booked at or after 6pm will incur a $25 fee. This fee is per client. If my availability is limited to or after 6pm, this fee will not apply.
SUNDAY APPOINTMENTS: Appointments made on Sunday will incur a $25 fee.
DELAYS: A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled makeup exceeds allotted time because of client delays and/or distractions.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: If your event or photoshoot is postposed because of inclement weather, the deposit paid can be transferred within two weeks. The date is subject to my availability.
GROUP CANCELLATIONS: If one or more clients in a group cancels their appointment, the deposit is non-refundable and the balance paid cannot be transferred to another client or service.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT BY CLIENT: In the event the client cancels the appointment, the client will lose the deposit.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT BY ARTIST : If I am unable to perform my duties because of an emergency, 100% of the deposit will be refunded by the original form of payment.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT BY ARTIST (2) : I reserve the right to cancel an appointment if the client delays 30 minutes or more. Because I travel to each of my clients, it is imperative that we start makeup at our scheduled time. Cancellation will happen only if your delay puts me at risk for being late for my client following your appointment time. Otherwise, I will complete services and a late fee will be incurred.
TRIAL MAKEUP: A trial makeup application is mandatory for all brides. It is the responsibility of the bride to book the wedding date to ensure artist availability.
DAY OF WEDDING: There is a minimum 5 person booking (including the bride) to be the main wedding of the day. If your service does not meet the 5 person minimum, your scheduled booking time will be worked with the other appointments I have that day.
SERVICE LOCATION NEEDS: Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client. A “set up” table/work area and a electric outlet will be needed to complete services. If location change is necessary, an additional $40 fee will incur.
TRAVEL FEE: A travel fee will be charged for some locations. The amount will be determined at the time of the booking inquiry.
TRAVEL ACCOMMODATIONS: All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but are not limited to transportation, parking, airfare, hotel, and taxes.
LIABILITY: All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin conditions or allergies should be reported by the Client to the Makeup Artist prior to application. Client(s) agree to release myself, Crystal White, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
